Global Cooling Initiatives

The picture is the COMPOSITE deck that we spent twice as much for because it is purported to be recycled, environmentally friendly, the wave of the future. The company promises it's great. After two months we had a big crack at one corner, uneven boards, bulges and sunken spots all over it. Don't fall for composite anything. Fortunately, I fought my builder's plan to have composite posts, rails and those boards that are holding the metal spindles you see. The deck is all wood except for the incredibly warped, bowed composite floor boards. Our builder says we'll have to sue the company, not him, to get the major fix it needs.
